DUPLICATE SET TO SCREEN


NEW LAYER, FILL WITH #EBEBEB SET TO COLOR BURN 100%

NEW LAYER FILL WITH #013d70 SET TO EXCULSION 100%


NEXT PASTE THIS BY ? AND SET TO LIGHTEN 100%


THEN PASTE THIS TO SOFT LIGHT 1005

ADD TEXT AND HERE IS THERE FINISHED ICON, :)

	way to ruin two perfectly fine pictures, it'd be much better if you'd just sharpened a bit and maybe brightened or something...but the coloring suuucks ass. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	like i said if you read the tut, i prefer it not sharpened, its up to the icon maker, and seeing as i made those icons, it was up to me, and if you are going to insult me like that at least leave your name coward! (Reply to this) (Parent)

Yeah cause there isn't already 2146776889+ tutorials that already do that exact same thing time and time again? Get over it - at least some people know how to make moderatly entertaining tutorials which don't exist soley of the same old tired techniques time and time again. Anyway marisadorable Thank you, this is really nice - I really like the colouring - after a thousand or so "Blue Burn Layer" tutorials this was really refreshing, I did have a go of both to test them out in PSP...not quite as good as yours [seen as stock Imagery is just so much better quality] But I'm rather fond of the effect of the first tutorial. 	These look really, really cool. I adore the icons you made with the first tutorial. And i don't think the pictures look "ruined" at all, I much prefer this style to the incredibly light, bright and sharpened stock icons you usually get. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	I tested it (finally :P), and this is what I got. I had to Gaussian Blur the image towards the end, and screen it a little more, but that was solely because of the pic. Used the first method; awesome tutorials. :) (Reply to this) (Thread)

	that looks gorgeous!!! ^ and thats okay sometimes you do have to alter things because of the image, if the image is light you may not have to screen, and if its really dark screen a few times :) (Reply to this) (Parent)
